In Photoshop – select the overlay and place it above your photo in a new layer. Change layer “Blend Mode” to “Screen”. Adjust the opacity as desired (you can duplicate layer with the overlay to make glitter more “stand-out”).
Add “Layer Mask” and select the “Brush Tool”, use a black round brush (hardness: 0) to brush off the overlay areas where you do not want it. You can also change the layer style to achieve different results.
The pack will work with any software that allows you to work with layers, like Photoshop, Photoshop Elements or Gimp.
