Sweet shadowbox with a magic fairy scene.

A sweet fairy face with a magical scene with mushrooms and flowers.

To create your own 3D Shadow box, as a gift, wall art or even a layered card.

Always wanted to make a shadowbox but not sure how ? Or looking for an original DIY project to create a sweet one of a kind gift ?

I created this stunning, easy to follow file to cut and craft your very own shadow box.

Materials, what do you need:

- a cutting machine and the software included with the machine (software that can use .svg files is recommended)

- cardstock (smooth cardstock with not to many fibers)

- 3d foam, Double Sided Adhesive foam (or other spacers)

- metal wire small led lights (optional) (with 20 lights)

- photoframe, 3D frame, shadowbox frame (optional)

Time and some patience :)

Size :

20x20 cm (aprox 8"x8")

Depth aprox 1,5 cm (depending on the spacers you use)

the file can be scaled in your cutting software to fit your project needs.

On a very small scale the project requires experience with cutting and using a detailed design.

Smaller then 20x20cm is not recommended if you don't have experience with small elements in cutting fies.

The color of your shadowbox depends on the cardstock you use (color and weight) and the lights (warm or cold).

This is a digital download to cut with your own cutting machine.

Tested on a Cricut Maker and Silhouette machine

Please make sure your machine can cut small details from cardstock.

Files :

1 xSVG file- Layered template with 4 layers

5 x PNG files - each layer on a seperate file (use the PNG - in case your software doesn't support svg files, the png needs to be traced in your cutting software!)

1 x PDF with each layer on a seperate page,

1 x EPS file

All of my designs are drawn, designed and created by me.

The artwork for the file is hand drawn (no photo traces etc used)

I strive for original, unique designs and never use existing illustrations from the web, nor purchased clip art of any kind.
