I have a confession to make. I've always enjoyed licking the mixing bowl. When I was a child, my mother scolded me for it, but I continued to do it anyway.

Taste is an important part of the cooking process, and to this day, I cannot get enough of the delicious taste of batter or dough as it's being prepared! The best part is that licking the bowl never interferes with any meal plans. It can be done in between, during and at the end of baking.
