Accessing glyphs in Photoshop

  1. Click on the Window menu at the top
  2. From the drop down choose the glyphs option
  3. A glyph menu will appear
  4. Select your font from the font menu
  5. Click on the text tool
  6. Type out your text. If you want an alternate glyph, double click on your glyph from the menu

I don’t seem to have this option.

I’m using Photoshop CS6 Version 13.

Hi 308d0b231e8b4b3888baa0d3d0f45d38 – welcome to the Forum

To clarify, under Window, you don’t have the Glyphs panel?

Correct, there is no Glyphs panel available under the Windows tab. It goes from Colour to Histogram

I think the older versions of Photoshop don’t have the Glyphs panel. I have CS5 and that doesn’t have it. My workaround is to write out my text in Illustrator (which does have the glyphs panel, even in the older versions) and copy and paste it into Photoshop.
