1- Open silhouette studio. Click on the text icon.
2- Type your text.
3- Change your font. I am using f2b569d03c59e01db3edc0df81671e8b from f8554164edd4dd98bd8ff45194541e49
4- Click on the sketch tool
5- Fill your text with a sketch effect.
6- Click on file and save to hard drive. It is at this point if you only have the free edition ,remove the grid from the mat area and take a screengrab of the design.(then use a SVG converter tool online)
7- Save as a SVG.
8- Open cricut design space. Click the upload icon.
9- Click on upload image.
10- click on browse.
11- Upload your design SVG. Save.
12- Select the design and insert it.
13-Your design will be a cut file.
14- Select the draw option. With the text selected, attach the text.
15- Click make it and continue.
16- Select the media and make sure the foil quill is inserted.
17- Set the dial to your media. I am using card stock.
18- Click go and your design will foil/
19- Your design is now foiled and filled. You can change the width between the lines of fill to make it a pattern or a full fill.
*silhouette studio business edition used.
*** Note- you can use the free edition with this technique. Instead of saving as a SVG in silhouette studio, take a screenshot of the design and use a Jpeg to SVG converter online.*
