Help Please!

Hello My name is Marvia. I am really new to cricut and have made a few items. I have a small etsy shop with a few shirts. The problem is I want to start making stickers. What is the best app to start with? And how to get them in svg and png files?
-Thank You-

Hi Marvia! I am happy to help! To confirm are you wanting to cut traditional stickers on sheets to sell - or are you looking to cut vinyl that you can apply to products such as mugs?

You will need a design program. Do you currently have one that you use? Are you using a computer or tablet?

I am currently using canva and cricut design. I have both laptop and using a computer to go back and forth. What the best program to use?

I use Corel Draw to design with however if you are looking to start with a free program Inkscape from 297cf278b3c7295503b4083db5dcf65b is a great option. We have some tutorials in our Community Forum for ed0d65da2810099aef436388deb3a54d

You could also use Adobe Illustrator which comes with a monthly subscription fee.

We also have a 512740fd9a1f9ec68d4af1c1487db894 on creating printable stickers in Design Space that may give you an idea of what you would need to do so that it will work for your customer if you are selling your own designs as stickers digitally

Bummer :frowning: Chromebook is tough because it doesn’t support as much as a regular PC. If you can get a computer that runs Windows or a Mac this would be better. Does your Chromebook support Silhouette Studio?

no maam. Its ok. Ill will try on a different computer. thank you guys so much for your help

Hey there … I hope you can help with just a quick question. do you use clear permanent vinyl to cover stickers? Is there something different than permanent vinyl ?

Chromebooks were made for the most basic of laptop needs web-browser-based Chrome OS is literally Web based meaning great for any web based app nothing like a Mac or Windows software based . This is why the low price not a lot of loaded software memory or storage. The idea was to put laptops in the hands of people that couldn’t afford or needed/wanted the bells and whistles great for “low income” to be encouraged to have access to this wonderful free world that’s the net even donated to 3rd world to bring tech to.

Hello
I have seen video where people put the clear vinyl on top of the stickers once it comes out of the printer then put it on the cricut machine to cut. I haven’t tried it as yet but looks very interesting. Let me know how yours come out if you do try it. Thanks.
