so pretty!

Hello from Western Canada! I got into card making around 1995, then life got in the way (divorce, move, etc) and I’m just starting back now. I’m transforming my sketches into SVGs, and I’ve started listing some for sale in my shop here. I enjoy working with my Cricut Air 2. It’s awesome! Card making is so much fun!

Gorgeous cards posted so far in this thread! I want to see more!

Hi from Geelong, Aus.
I like to have a pack of coloured cardstock, some printed papers and depending on what kind of cards you want to make, some stamps, stamp pads or some purchased embellishments if you don’t have a dye cutter or cutting machine.
I have moved from doing cards using stamps and some other embellishments to using my Cricut cutting machine now so usually only use the stamp pads to give the cut pieces some shading. Here is a simple card using ink & bought embellishments

Very cute! That gives me a very cool idea for 3d piece.

I found even with the Cricut, I’m still doing hybrid cards.

Using the Cricut to create elaborate word, lace, to add.

There still is that need to play physically with the papers, cutting, touching, making layers. I even have some ideas of creating outlines of my stamps and then using the Cricut to make the bases.

But I can truthfully say it’s just another tool - love using the other tools too.
