How to use fonts in Inkscape

  1. Ensure your font has been unzipped and installed in your PC. If you are unsure how to do this, you can find the tutorial 35ade2dc91f9848a08221e3c04ba9a26

  2. Open Inkscape and either create a new file or open a file you require text on.

  3. Once your file is open select the text icon on the left in your toolbar.

  1. Type your desired text. (If you select your font first then type you will find that the text can revert back to the original font). Make sure once you finish typing you highlight your text.

  1. In the drop-down box select your font. This will change your text to the desired font.

  1. When you have your desired font, you can resize your text using the arrows on the text box.

Question … is there any way to move the anchors independently? IE: I want the beginning of a word/phrase to be big, but the end of the word/phrase to reduce down to almost a point.
