Watercolor Brush Recommendations

I recently purchased set of handmade, metallic watercolors, from the lovely Etsy store, LiveLifeCreativelyKS  The paint is incredible, but I think I need a different brush :paintbrush: I’m currently using a water brush – I’m curious to know if anyone recommends a great brush for watercolor lettering :art:

This handmade metallic watercolor paint looks like so much fun!

I use a variety of brushes for watercolors when I paint. I’m more comfortable using the kind that doesn’t have a water reservoir in the handle. Winsor & Newton is always a safe bet.

Thank you so much Nathalie!! :kissing_heart: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love Pro Arte brushes for watercolour. They are so soft and the paint goes on really smoothly :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve always used bamboo brushes for watercolor - I think they’re mainly for ink but they work great for watercolor and you can get really varied thick/thin lines.
