Creating outlined text in SCAL4.

*Note- SCAL4 Pro used.

- Open SCAL4 software.

- Type your first letter.

- Change the font that you would like to use. I am using Uncle Grump from fontbundles.net.

- Duplicate the letter 2 times so you have 3 the same.

- Change the colour of one of the letters. This will make it easier to create the outline.

-Click on Path - path offset.

- A new window will appear. Change the size to approx 0.390 inches. Then click OK.

- You will see that the size of your letter has increased. Select the second letter.

- Go to Path - path offset.

- In the path offset size change to 0.190 inches. Click OK.

- Place the 2nd letter over the first. Select both.

-  Go to object - alignment - align centers.

- With both letters still selected, go to Path - back minus front.

- You now have an outline.

- Move the third letter inside the middle of the outline.

-  Select both and right click, select group. You outline letter is finished.

- Repeat the above steps to create your text.
