Use the totally blank map to further challenge students by having them draw in the lakes or as a quiz when the unit is finished. There is a labeling activity as well as an activity to insert the size of each lake. Doing some research via computer search can be really fun for students.

There is a numbered map provided that is not shown in the image. This map may be a little easier to use and it coordinates with the numbered activity and key. You can number the lakes as you wish on the blank map if you prefer.
