Before Design Bundles opened our digital doors for business, company co-founders, Alex and Andy, launched Font Bundles Marketplace back in March 2016. But our origin story goes back even further still, to the development of a humble landing page back in December 2015.
At the time, the idea of selling premium fonts, svg files, and other design elements in an affordable bundle was pretty much unheard of online. Recognizing the potential to save crafters, designers, hobbyists, business owners, and creatives a small fortune, Alex and Andy combined their 20+ years experience in design, marketing, programming, and online innovation. The result was a landing page featuring their very first "Font Bundle," boasting an impressive 96% off the RRP.
The bundle was a roaring success welcomed by creatives and business owners worldwide, leading Alex and Andy to develop the first-ever PUA encoded online marketplace, FontBundles.net, shortly after. Following the success of their first marketplace, Alex and Andy expanded the business and launched Design Bundles in July 2016.
From our humble origin story to now, our mission to expand our product range, save our valued customers millions of dollars on premium design resources, and provide space for independent designers to share their talent with the world, has remained. But how have we achieved our goals thus far, we hear you ask?
AND, let's not forget our trailblazer of a dual license, which keeps things simple for our customers and designers. Every product is available for personal and commercial use, so with one download, our customers can craft for fun, design for business, or both.
Behind the scenes, we employ over 50 people from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Spain, Indonesia, and many more countries. We also have 14 translators helping us develop our digital marketplaces to be multilingual by 2021 and over 100 independent Plus Designers.
As our brand continues to grow, customer satisfaction remains at the heart of everything we do. We are now recognized by millions of people (yay!) as the go-to digital marketplace for affordable, premium design resources, and we don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
