Designing something both beautiful and functional is a perfect blend that many crafters, artists, and other creative types strive for. This same concept should be one that’s applied to using a planner!
They don’t have to be serious and boring just because it is essential to your well-being and the general running of your life. It can, and probably should be, something you look forward to opening, using, and checking off those tasks and to-do lists inside. Planner users know just how much fun and pleasure they can bring, right alongside their functionality. Decorating planners, or using ones already decorative in nature, can bring a sense of enjoyment and make us more likely to use these notebooks, journals, etc.
Getting Started with Planners
Don't have this amazing tool yet? Looking for some cute planners online? Let's change that! You can browse through our sections for digital planners and physical planners to find the type you need. Need some ideas? Here are a few creative and decorative elements to get you started:
Of course, these elements are great fun and add some flair and pizzazz to what could otherwise be boring. But they are most often functional too, and sometimes in ways you wouldn't even consider. Use a pretty glitter gel pen to write down an appointment, but it was the wrong day? Now what? Don't scribble it out! Slap a box sticker right on top of that, and now you can easily re-use that section for what you need and write your appointment where it should have gone in the first place!
Remember, pretty planner design template products, elements, stickers, and such aren't necessary. Still, they sure can be fun and keep you motivated to use this tool that you've invested time and money into!
