Ukrainian Wedding Rushnyk Embroidery Scheme. Ukraine pattern

Ukrainian Wedding Rushnyk (Towel) is a traditional rural item for the wedding ceremony. The bride and bridegroom stand on it during the wedding glans. A girl has to spend a lot of time making embroidery for such a towel. So, prepare your patience. The pattern is composed of traditional Ukrainian embroidery borders. You can rearrange them your way or use some borders from the pattern for your projects. 

You will get PDF file suitable for printing on casual black and white printer on A4 paper or a similar size.

It is better to use embroidery fabric for the towel. It is a 30-40 sm wide cloth.

Suitable Aida canvases are 12 or 14. But better count your canvas to be sure 171 cross stitch + little margin on both sides.

Pattern height is 330 stitches. The middle part has to be left free of the pattern. It is a place of god. The TOtal length of the rushnyk is about 2-3 meters. 

Red and black colors. I subject you to use woolen threads to have more intense colors and bright results. 

Start from the bottom and move up. Minor bugs are acceptable. Wedding fabric represents a life path. You know, it can't be absolutely smooth. There has to be a slight difference between the towel's two ends. The male side has an oak ornament, and the female side has a viburnum berries ornament.
