This New York Skyline Lantern Paper cut template is great for using as a gift or as decoration for a special occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries, themed parties and more. Can be resized to your requirements.
Process:
- Import the suitable file in to your preferred application such as Illustrator, CorelDraw, Silhouette Studio etc.
- Resize as required
- Set up the cutting depth and speed on your machine as required, doing a test cut will help getting the correct settings.
- Mount your preferred card / paper stock on your cutting matt.
- Load the matt to your machine.
- Do a test cut if needed.
- Once happy with the cutting depth etc, send the artwork to your cutter.
- Once complete peel off all the excess paper from the cutting matt.
- Pick out all the smaller unwanted pieces with a picking tool or something similar.
- Start folding the edges that need to be glued up.
- Apply some glue, any craft or suitable glue suited to your media will do.
- Fold on fold lines, glue flap on the opposite side.
- Place battery operated light in the centre.
