Instantly make your own papercraft Venus Flytrap and planter! The plant requires 1 sheet of 8.5x11 Cardstock (or two if you want colored paddles inside your plant mouths) and another sheet for the planter.

Using the default size included on US letter paper will yield a potted plant with the dimensions below. The SVG file is easily scaled up in Cricut design space to make larger plants and planters.
Plant (when potted): ~3.5" x ~3.5"
Planter: 1" x 1" (planter comparison photo shows planter scaled ~50% larger)
Both can be scaled. If you want a larger, more intricate plant, simply print additional strips and add them to your roll-up.

The plant is essentially a 'roll-up'. Let your cutting machine do the work, then tape the two strips together and roll up (see video).
1, Cut the design using your preferred cutting software.
2) Glue the paddles inside the plant mouths, then crease the mouths and stems. I painted mine before assembling as shown in the video, but this is totally optional.
2, Roll along the edge of a pen, creating a coil. Glue/tape together when finished rolling.
3, Roll additional strips of paper to act as the 'dirt' and hold your plant in place in the planter.

These files will download in a compressed/zipped folder. You must be able to unzip a compressed folder in order to use this item. This software is likely already installed on your PC and you will simply need to right-click the folder and select "Unzip" or "Extract".
