WOW Dad this birthday with this DIY card template. Card features a frame, similar to a shadow, with functional drawers (for hiding treats!) and mini tools on a backboard. In the listing photo I used a wood veneer cardstock for the tabletop and cutout letters, but any ~65lb-80lb cardstock will do!
----------| Item Specs |----------
This item included scale notes in the download file to make the following size cards
Standard (from 12x12 paper): 5.5" x 5.5" card and corresponding envelope
Small (Card suitable to cut from US Letter, envelope still requires 12x12): 5" x 5"
The drawers are small (1.5" or 2" wide), so while they are ADORABLE they are only suitable for storing small items.
----------| Instructions |----------
Cutting:
Scale and Design Software instructions are included in a text file within the download folder. You should be familiar with the concept of grouping/ungrouping, scoring, and attaching objects in order to use this template. In addition to the written instructions I have included a photo showing all of the layers in design space before I cut, so that you can see which layers are scored and which are grouped.
Assembly:
Please refer to the assembly video and image instructions included in this listing. There is no in depth tutorial or pdf instructions for this file, as I feel the video and image included here is sufficient.

-PDF (White objects with black outlines, dashed lines for scoring. There are two sheets scaled for 8.5x11 paper, if you do plant to try hand cutting this you will need to manipulate this file. I do not recommend this unless you are familiar with image editing. You will not be able to cut an envelope from 8.5x11 paper that fits this card/scale.)
