Let your cutting machine do the work and then assemble the design for a quick and easy craft.
Design Space
1, Open the shape (corn stalk and garden box contained in single file).
2, Use "Scale" text document within folder to replicate the scale shown in this listing, if desired.
3, Garden box and insert will be in top grouping. Ungroup this section.
4, The score lines are dashed black lines. Set the operation for this to score and attach it to the layer below. You will repeat this once for the box and once for the insert.
5, Duplicate the remaining shapes in order to make x3 (by default only 1 corn stalk is in the document)
Assembly
1, Arrange pieces on clear, flat surface.
2, Color and embellish each of the leaves as desired.
3, Roll up each yellow piece to form a corn, glue to seal.
4, Glue the double green leaf to the outside of each corn. There are tabs at the bottom of this for inserting into the main stalk.
5, Glue the corns to the stalk before rolling. I placed mine at leaf #2 and #5 (see video), but you can adjust as you like.
6, Roll up the template in the direction of the arrow and glue to seal it together. Repeat. Then repeat again.
7, Fold the sides of the planter up and use the flaps to glue in place. There is also an insert that will help hold the corn in place.
