Hi, my name is Karen and I live in Durban North, Durban, South Africa - which is on the East Coast of Africa - where the sun shines always. What started off as a hobby has now become my passion. I love machine embroidery and digitizing of machine embroidery designs. I started sewing about 16 years ago, after giving up work to bring my two young daughters up. I have loved every minute of it - I progressed from learning how to draw up my own patterns (making clothes) to sewing crafts, then onto embroidery and finally onto digitizing. I have been digitizing for the past 9 years
