Please see below how each format is supposed to be used:
SVG format is used for cutting machines software like Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Designer Edition and other software like Adobe Suite, Corel Draw and more.
✅ SVG is a vector format this means that elements can be scaled and modified without any loss in resolution.
PNG format is saved at 300 dpi with a transparent background — best quality for print.
❎ PNG is a raster format so this means that any changes made to files in this format will damage resolution quality.
✅ If you want to do any changes to the design, it's best to use vector format (SVG, AI, EPS, DXF) to make changes and then export it into PNG format for print.
EPS10 and AI formats are used for graphics software like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, as well as Corel Draw and Inkscape.
✅ EPS and AI are vector formats this means that elements can be scaled and modified without any loss in resolution.
DXF format is used for cutting machines software and also for laser cutting and engraving machines. Please check if your version of the software covers usage of DXF.
