Realistic vector tulips in a seamless pattern. I photographed these flowers in the Botanical Gardens last spring. One of them was beginning to fall and in this beginning fading I saw the beauty I wanted to convey. The dramatic dark purple color, close to black, looks very unusual in spring flowers. Also I like very much the still life of the Hollandic masters of the Middle Ages and I wanted to represent the flowers in a similar manner, but in a modern style and most importantly, with modern technology. I drew this pattern by hand on a tablet with a screen on which I can draw as if I drew on paper. Because of this, I have no constraints as I draw, and the plants get an advantage because they are depicted in a program that allows me to retain the quality of the drawing with infinite magnification of the image. In a vector file you can set the size absolutely any size. I have saved the raster copies for you in high resolution 500 DPI.
The main advantage of this pattern is that it is drawn in vector format. The pattern is drawn without the use of gradients or gradient meshes. Vector files have no scale restrictions, you can enlarge the illustration without loss of quality.
All halftones and transitions from one color to another are achieved by superimposing transparent strokes and color patches on each other, like watercolor strokes.
