Another set of boho unicorns this time with watercolour manes. This set will work with my first Boho Unicorn set. Instructions at the bottom.
File formats are: AI (CS6), EPS, SVG, and PDF formats plus individual PNG files of all the unicorns and watercolours.
You get 24 premade unicorns – 6 different unicorns with four variations each. Each part of the unicorn is in a separate group so you can easily switch off parts to replace them with others or make the unicorns horses instead.
You also get 6 watercolour textures in PNG format.
This is a great set for social media branding, marketing, pretty posters and stationery, wedding stationery, clothing, patterns, and scrapbooking.
Tip: You can easily combine the two unicorn sets.
NOTE: Instructions are for Illustrator. They may differ for other programs.
To create watercolour manes for the first set:
1. Turn the manes completely black (make sure all CMYK values are at 100%), then copy this mane (if there is more than one part, group all parts together first) to the clipboard.
2. Position the watercolour image over the area of the mane.
3. Select Transparency, click on Make Mask, then tick Clip to Layer and Invert Mask.
4. Next, click in the black mask area and press CTRL (Command) +V to paste the black mane into the mask area.
The watercolour should now only be visible for the mane area.
To add leaves or gold splatter to the second set:
1. Open both documents.
2. Drag or copy and paste the desired elements (leaves, gold splatter) from the first document to the second document.
3. Arrange the elements.
Note: It would be recommended to save the files first with a different file name before making considerable changes so you always have the original document to go back to.
