The history of the softie sewing pattern:

To create a soft toy pattern, first at all I created a 3D model of this toy.

At the second stage, I designed the details of the stuffed toy sewing patterns directly on the 3D model surface using special software.

After that, the details of the sewing pattern were laid out on a plane.

Next, I fitted all the details of the grasshopper softie pattern to each other with great precision in a specialized program.
