Spell and Seek is a fun and easy way to get your little learner spelling and reading! To play, simply print and go -- no prep at all, which makes this activity even better. For each puzzle, look at the pictures and spell each word (there are 6 words to spell for each puzzle). Then, find the words that were spelled in the seek and find. This activity includes 6 "l blend" puzzles.
What's an "l blend"? Easy! An l blend is any word that begins with a consonant + the letter l. Some examples include "blocks", "clam", "glad", "floor", "slide", or "plant". These are commonly taught in the first or second grade. These puzzles are more suited for intermediate readers that are learning to spell.
These games are perfect for at home learning as well as learning in the classroom. Would be great as an "early finisher" activity!
