Christmas Holiday Puzzle Activities for Kids

Keeping kids busy is a win/win for teachers, parents and kids. Bringing the Christmas holidays to their fingers and minds is a great way to encourage motor skill development and have fun doing so. Use the templates or activity sheets to practice puzzling skills. You could also practice motor skills by having the children cut the puzzles out as well. Spelling paired up with the festive designs will nearly ensure success! When the children successfully assemble the puzzle, mention that they put the shape together properly as well as spelled the word. Have them pronounce the letters and then put those sounds together to say the word.

Use the image only puzzles to practice speech and feel free to open conversation by asking questions about the images.
