Multiplication Timed Tests

It’s important for children to learn the multiplication facts by heart, so that it makes math a little faster when solving problems. Have them practice the facts by completing these Timed Multiplication Tests.

There are 4 different tests, each with 20 problems. Time the children for 1 minute. When they are done, have them count up how many they completed in the time. They can write that on the line provided. Then grade their test to see how many they got correct. Write that on the line. Having more correct is more important than how many they finished. 

Point out to the child which multiplication facts that they didn’t get right and they can practice them.

Keep this test on hand and have them do another one on a different day. Compare the tests to see if they are getting better with their multiplication facts.
