Parts of Speech
Parts of speech can be tricky. It’s hard to remember what nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns all are.
The first page here are resource cards for your students to use to help them remember the difference between nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns.
The second page is where they can practice identifying them in sentences. Context is important for identifying them, so that’s why they are included in sentences.
There are boxes around the words that your students need to identify. There is a key at the top of the page, so they know what color to fill in each box. Nouns are red, verbs are blue, adjectives are yellow, and pronouns are purple.
An answer guide has been included for your convenience and ease of grading. You might even want your students to grade their own papers.
