Educators, teachers, homeschool moms and dads, you are going to really like this basic and versatile activity pack for the oceans of the world. A simple, easy to read map both with numbers and without numbers for a more challenging or perhaps, less distracting learning experience. There is a fill in the blank format of the map that may be more clear for some learners and for those students who have difficulty focusing or writing in small spaces. There's also a fun word scramble for more spelling and fine motor skills practice.
Students may want to color the maps. Consider having them draw a compass and maybe the equator, prime meridian and any other feature you feel is important. These will help greatly when explaining how the weather and temperature works in regards to these imaginary lines. Feel free to ask extra questions about the map. Questions referring to Pangea. Ask where they might like to visit one day or where they have visited or maybe even where they are from. Be certain that students know where they live on this map.
