The Major Rivers of the United States Activity Sheets

If you're looking for educational resources to teach the major rivers in the contiguous United States, you're set. This pack of resources provides two different levels of difficulty. The easier activity could be used as an introduction and the more difficult one could be used either for reinforcement or quizzing if necessary.

There are also two different maps. One has letters for each represented river. The other has no letters. The map with no letters might be a bit more challenging. It also may help students with visual clutter or provide students with their own methodology of memorization and or visualization.

There is a blank compass that can also be filled in. Consider using a blank map from any of our other series and challenge the students even further by having them draw in the river and label them. Check out the other U.S. Rivers activities in Plus.
