Pre-K, Kindergarten/1st Grade St. Patrick's Day Craftivities
These craftivities are perfect for getting your child excited about writing. Included are 3 different crafts, coupled with a writing activity that will vary in skill level. You have the option of creating templates with the printable pieces and having your child color each piece, cut and assemble themselves OR you can use the SVG files that are included to have your cutting machine cut the pieces for you.
• Rainbow Name Pot of Gold: great for Pre-K students learning to spell their name, this simple craft allows students to practice with cutting, gluing and writing. Students will write the letters of their name, one at a time, on the rainbow strips and will assemble it to look as if it's coming into the pot of gold at the end.
• How To Catch a Leprechaun: this is great for emergent writers that are learning about procedural writing. Students will assemble the leprechaun hat and place at the top of the provided writing sheet.
• I Feel Lucky: This cute craft will have students putting together a fun little shamrock and attaching it to the writing prompt that they will complete about how they feel lucky.
