These notes were born at 5 a.m., in a quiet kitchen, while two school lunchboxes were being packed.
I am a dad of two girls (10 and 15). I work as a designer and usually draw at night.
To help my wife in the mornings, I prepare sandwiches before school and leave small handwritten notes so no one mixes up their lunch (trust me — their tastes are very different!).
Over time, the simple lunch notes turned into small hand-drawn scenes where my girls became pirates, explorers, warriors against procrastination, and guardians of knowledge. Even my wife found her place among the characters.
What started as a practical way to label sandwiches became our small family ritual.
Now I’m sharing them with you:)
Each note shows learning as something bigger than homework —
an expedition, a discovery, or a mission.
Kids in these scenes search for treasure like pirates, explore distant galaxies, study the stars through telescopes, dive into the deep ocean, climb mountains, and even face dragons that try to steal their time.
Sometimes they are heroes like Wonder Woman, Star Butterfly, Lady Bug, Iron Man, Captain Marvel or Supergirl.
Sometimes they study magic like Harry Potter.
Sometimes they explore galaxies like in Star Wars.
And sometimes they investigate strange mysteries like in Stranger Things.
But in every story the idea is the same:
Learning is a real superpower.
Curiosity is courage.
And knowledge is the greatest treasure.

💛 WHY THESE NOTES ARE DIFFERENT
These aren’t perfect digital illustrations.
They were drawn in a real planner notebook, keeping the authentic texture of paper and pencil.
Some of them contain short information to remind your youngest daughter of the typology of minerals studied yesterday or the names of the planets. But all of them definitely have a place for your own inscription and wishes for your child!
They are imperfect, warm, and real — just like early mornings with kids.
✨ PERFECT FOR

• School encouragement
• Building confidence
• Motivating girls to love learning
• Parents who want a small daily ritual with their children
