These designs are perfect for creating unique thank you cards for your teachers or nursery workers.
you will receive a zip folder with an SVG (suitable for most cutting machines) and PNG file (transparent background) of these designs. If you require another file format please let me know.
Designed to be cut out of card with cutting machines with a pen tool.
I have cut these designs using a cricut cutting machine on white cardstock of 216gsm (80lb) on medium cardstock setting at default pressure.
This design was cut on a 15x15cm (6x6 inch) card (this image is a card front only).
To create a card template, simply choose a square shape and resize this to the card size you’re wanting to make, place a score line down the centre of the card, then resize and centre the design on the right hand side of the card (this will be the front of your card).
You will need to make a few basic changes to the card front design.
An SVG file is also known as a ‘cut file’, so it changes all the layers to ‘cut’ by default.
In the layers panel you will need to change the layers to be drawn from ‘cut’ to ‘draw’ with the pen tool (on a cricut).
There are 2 layers in total. One will be to cut out parts of the design and the other layer is for the pen.
Then finish off by highlighting the whole design and clicking ‘attach’, your card is now ready to cut!
Once the design has been cut you can then place cardstock of your choice behind the cut design so it shows through.
