This Christmas candy dome template bundle comes as a digital download, therefore no physical item will be sent.
You will receive a zip folder with an SVG file for each of the designs (21 designs in total).
There are also non ornament versions included that don’t have a hole, so you can choose whether or not to have as an ornament.
These candy dome designs are perfect for cutting out of cardstock to make a variety of different Christmas characters to hold wrapped treats, as shown in the pictures.
All files are pre-sized, so the size the file is loaded to is the size you cut at (sized to fit a round bauble of 3.15”).
(You can resize to suit other sizes if needed, you would have to manually do this).
Once the SVG file has been uploaded all you have to do is make it, there’s no resizing or alterations to make (with most of them), just choose your coloured card stock and away you go!
The only alterations you’ll need to make is with some of the bauble designs with a pen layer on them. Simply choose the layer in the layers panel, go to edit and change the operation from basic cut to draw with pen, click on the bauble within this layer and change back to basic cut and then attach this layer.
Then once your layers have been cut, simply glue them together using a normal glue stick and then with a half bauble (3.15”) fill with sweets and using a glue gun put a small amount around the rim and then fix into place on your layered card.
Leave to dry and then if you’ve chosen to cut the ornament version stick string through the hole to hang up on the Christmas tree or add as a stocking filler.
