Poster sizes included are: 8"x10", 16"x20", A2, A3, and A4.Compared to my Starmap Poster Creator, this one is a bit harder to use, but is still suitable for beginner and advanced photoshop users. I recommend watching the tutorial video first: https://youtu.be/F-rDYzOWVu8
This product has some very specific things that it can't do. For most users, they won't be a problem, but please read through all the requirements listed below :]Requirements, things this product can't do, and FAQ:
- For unknown reasons, South Korea is not able to be mapped. You can't create a map poster of any part of this country. Everywhere else works fine, though.
- You'll need photoshop CS5, CS6, or any version of creative cloud. Ps Elements will not work.
- This addons uses the map data from Snazzy maps. This is a free source, and you'll need to create a free acount with them in order to make a map poster with this addon. It takes about 2 minutes and the video tutorial explains how to use it.
- The map-data website only lets you download 10 map images per day. So, you can only make up to 10 Map Posters per day. You can create more than one account if you want to get around this.
- Maximum sizes: The largest poster you can create at 300dpi is A2 or 16"x20"
- Road style: The roads in this poster creator are not laser sharp. They have a slightly grainy edge, you can see a clear example of it in the preview image called 'High-Res Example'. It looks fine when you print it, but under extremely close examination, it will have this grainy look.
- Custom Color: This is a minimal-based poster creator. You can choose one 'key' color only, and then variations of that 'key' color are applied to each part of the poster. This makes it easy to use, but you won't be able to make the roads blue and the water green, for example. You'll have to choose either blue or green or some other color for everything, and then each element of the map will be a shade of that 'key' color. You can control the shades, though, and make certain parts darker or lighter.
Please make sure you have photoshop CS5 or newer. All Creative Cloud version of photoshop work great with this template. This product is not compatible with Affinity Photo, Gimp, or Coreldraw. Thanks for your support! let me know if you have any questions.
