----------| Overview |----------
Instantly make your own mini house plants with this digital template! The alocasia template contains cut files or the leaves, veins, and planter. Templates are suitable for Cricut and Silhouette cutting machines. The design is easy to assemble, plus I have also included an assembly video/tutorial.
These tiny plants are great for birthday centerpieces, dollhouse miniatures, greeting cards, and a host of other uses.
----------| Item Specs |----------
Plant:
Assembled: 3"W x 3.5"H (cut file max width is 4.4", thus suitable for Cricut Joy)
Planter:
Assembled: 1" x 1"
The template is built so that each item (leaves, veins) are separate colors and can be easily cut from different color cardstock. When opening the plant file, scale your design to 10" tall (before ungrouping) in order to mirror the scale shown in the photos.
----------| Instructions |----------
The plant is essentially a 'roll-up'. Let your cutting machine do the work and then roll the strip up and glue to finish.
1, Cut the pieces on your cutting machine. There is a separate color for the leaves, veins, and planter.
2, Place the leafy strip of paper in front of you, with the arrow pointing right. Glue one vein piece to the top of each leaf (template is forgiving here, they cut in order from largest to smallest, but if you mix them up they are close enough that no one will notice a difference!).
3, Tape the left side of the strip to a skewer/pen and roll from left to right.
4, Use additional long strips of paper (aka dirt) to wrap around the base of your plant. Place inside the prepared planter.
