Magnetic Advent Christmas Tree

This darling Christmas Advent will be a favorite traditional decoration for years to come! The instructions are clearly written in each of the SVG files. This is an intermediate file since it's a little difficult to line up the ornaments for engraving perfectly. I would recommend knowing your laser's camera calibrations.

For the tree pictured, I used 1/8" Baltic Birch for the ornaments and 1/4" maple for the tree, background, and box. For the flat magnets, I found mine on Amazon. Just search for 6mm craft magnets and you'll find them.

First, I cut and scored the base layer of the ornaments. Then I turned the ornaments over and scored the 1/4" opening for the magnets. I then cut the top layer of the ornaments out of white pre-painted 1/8" Baltic Birch and glued them onto the ornament base layers.

The tree was cut and engraved from pre-painted 1/4" Maple Ply. Tree background was on unfinished wood then rubbed with dark paste wax. Same for the attached box.

Finished sign is 19" x 11”.
