MEMORIAL STAR | Ornament Mock Up

We created this Memorial Star Ornament Mock Up as we wanted to display some of our own SVG designs and felt this area of mock ups was a little under appreciated. AND, partly because we just felt it looked great.

This pack includes a flat JPEG file which can have designs overlaid on top AND the 'smart mock up' - a Photoshop PSD file which has a ‘smart layer’ that can be easily edited to include your design. This could be a simple word or phrase, or even a more complex design which can cover the entire star!

We hope you enjoy using this item and have lots of fun with it! 

As a quick guide to using ‘smart layers’ in Photoshop...

1 Open the psd file in Photoshop.

2 Double-click on the layer called ‘Your Artwork Here-Double Click’.

This will open the ‘Smart Layer’ in a new Photoshop window/tab.

3 Add your design to this ‘Smart Layer’. There is a ‘Rough Star Guide’ layer to help you position your elements correctly if required (please delete or turn this layer off before closing this ‘smart’ file) and then close the tab/window and save when asked.

And hey presto... your graphic will then appear where you have positioned it.

I've been a professional Graphic Designer for over 20 years since studying Art & Design, then Graphics, at University and completing a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design.
