I draw on a touch screen tablet with a screen on which you can draw with a stylus ( electronic pen) All the flowers are created in vector format. I open the photo on one computer and draw on my tablet, as I would do it drawing on paper. The technique eliminates the use of gradients and gradient meshes, so the file weighs much less than megabytes. I use strokes in drawing, as in graphics and overlaying semi-transparent colors, like strokes in watercolor technique, only I do it all in Adobe Illustrator.
