Punctuation Station

Punctuation can be tricky for students. That’s why Punctuation Station was created. Giving students the opportunity to practice reading sentences and identifying the ending punctuation can really help solidify your students’ understanding of it. Understanding this will help them with their own writing as well!

There are 12 sentences on each side of the worksheet. Sentences are mixed up between declarative sentences needing a period, interrogative sentences needing a question mark, and exclamative sentences needing an exclamation mark.

Some sentences can be tricky. Sometimes it depends on how you say a sentence to know what end punctuation goes there. Keep that in mind with the declarative and exclamative sentences.
