Long I (Vowel Teams ea, ee, ie, ey & -y Ending Spelling Patterns) Mini Book!
This little mini book offers great practice with the long e sound vowel team spelling patterns. Students will be presented with a picture and three different spelling choices. They will need to choose the correct spelling of the word and either use a Bingo dauber to dab the word, or simply use markers or crayons to color in the word. This packet includes two different books, one focusing on ea and ee spelling patterns, and the other focusing on ie, ey, and y-ending spelling patterns.
To prepare this activity, simply print (front to back to save paper if you can), cut down the middle on the indicated dotted line, and staple on the left side. Easy! This activity is great for students in 1st grade.
