Valentine Acrostic Poems

Writing poems can be difficult for children (or anyone for that matter). It’s a little easier when we have something to start with.

That’s why these Valentine Poems were made. Your children can write acrostic poems about Valentine’s Day.

An acrostic poem simply uses the letters of a word to make a poem about that word. For example,

  G arden

The first page is an acrostic poem that your children can write using the letters from the word LOVE, while the second page uses the letters from the word HEART.

You may want your children to write both poems on the same day or on separate days. You may just want them to choose which one that they want to write.
