This design is perfect for cutting out of card to create a range of Easter cards, along with an envelope template to put it in, or the option to make a slim card box to present it in (especially if the card design has pop ups).
you will receive a zip folder with an SVG file (suitable for most cutting machines) of the card front, card template, card box and an envelope template, the complete package for an Easter card.
Designed to be cut out of card.
I have test cut these designs using a cricut cutting machine on cardstock of 216gsm (80lb) on medium cardstock setting at default pressure.
All files are presized, so no adjustments will need to be made to the sizes.
There will need to be a few changes made from the files, because an SVG file (also known as a cut file) changes all the lines to ‘cut’.
Card front:
This will be presized the fit the centre of a 4.75” x 4.75” card. Click ungroup, select the layer to be drawn and change the line type under edit from ‘basic cut’ to ‘draw’ with pen, then highlight and attach this layer.
Card template:
This is presized to make a cricut S40 sized card (4.75” x 4.75”). Click ungroup and then select the card insert from the layers panel and put this to the side of the card template, then select the line down the middle and change this from ‘basic cut’ to ‘score’.
You can now place your card front into the centre of the right hand side of this card template, highlight and then click ‘attach’.
Envelope template:
This is presized to fit a 4.75” x 4.75” card. You will need to select the lines in the middle from the layers panel and change this layer from ‘basic cut’ to ‘score’, then highlight and click ‘attach’.
slim card box:
upload the lid and base and change one of the layers for each of these from cut to score and then highlight and attach. These files are also presized to fit a 4.75 x 4.75” card, more suitable for the cards with popups.
After making these changes your card, card insert and envelope template or slim card box are now ready to cut.
