Make a splash with a Free Mermaid Vector
Mermaids and stencils were mermade for each other! You can use stencils for customizing all sorts of projects from clothing and wall decor to garden slabs and even glitter tattoos - especially if you make your stencil reusable. You will need clear craft plastic and an easy tack repositionable adhesive. Load your free Mermaid Vector into Design Space and draw a rectangle over, slightly larger than your design.
Highlight all layers and click the slice function to cut your design out of the shape, creating your stencil. If there are any pieces that are going to get lost when you cut (like the middle of letters) you just need to go in and add a small elongated rectangle bridging shape to them, weld it to the sliced image to create a tab to hold the center of the letters in place when you cut. Once the design is cut, flip it over and spray a layer of adhesive to the back and there you have your very own fin-tastic stencil!
