Welcome SVG for Glowforge | Patriotic 4th of July Round Sign Design

This patriotic design was created for the Glowforge.

Example design was cut using approximately a 7-inch diameter so it can all fit on one sheet. You can however cut the design larger.

This is NOT for a cutting machine such as Cricut or Silhouette. This is a laser only file.

To create the example I used the medium basswood setting on my Glowforge Pro. I cut the design using 1/8" birchwood. Once pieces were cut I spray painted the pieces in white, red, blue, gold and black. The design is 4 layers. The back layer was painted white, the stripe layer was painted red, the star layer was painted blue, the offset word layer was painted black, the word was painted white and the outline was painted a gold shade.

Once pieces are dry align the half circles to the back layer. The half circles will not touch in the center. This is intentional to allow for a stripe. So you need to align the half pieces to the outside of the circle and glue. Then you will align the circle "frame" to the design. Next, you will glue the word "welcome" to the offset layer. Then glue that to the center of the design. Then you are done!
