Boo Y'all Glowforge SVG | Halloween Laser Cut File
Based on my cut file! This Glowforge-ready file is made specifically for laser users.
The ghosts will cut in 2 sections for easy cutting and lining up.
The design can be cut using only 1 sheet of material. I used 1/8" birch plywood.
I applied 3M to ½ of the back of the wood so the word, letters and ghosts will attach to the circle cut out.
You will cut all pieces except though the full ghost with words will be scored (optional), to make it easier for placement.
After cutting my design (for approximately 9.66 in diameter) it took me around 11 minutes with my Glowforge pro.
Once cut I left my wood on the crumb tray and took painters tape and applied over the letters for “y’all”
Paint your pieces. I recommend black for the circle and white for the ghosts. If you scored the circle be careful not to overspray or you won’t be able to see how to line the design up. Allow to dry.
I then remove the 3m tape from the elements and applied to my circle.
Voila! You are done!
Please Note: You can use glue instead of 3M. I just find 3M to be faster and easier.
**If you want to cut larger than the size stated you may do so but you will need to have a larger laser bed or a passthrough slot to make a larger circle. Alternatively you may purchase a pre-cut circle and size your ghost/words layer to the size of your circle.
