Like Branches On A Tree Family Glowforge SVG | Farmhouse Laser Design

This easy to customize design is perfect for an easy and elegant gift. Use your own font to add your last name. I suggest "Times New Roman". The design is 2 layers and features a "frame" around the edge of the backing. You will score the circular words on the frame and score the sections of the tree on the backing, then engrave the words "the", "family" and your last name. You will cut the remaining pieces.

On my Glowforge Pro the design takes approximately 18 minutes to cut and engrave BEFORE adding the name. For those I would add a few more minutes to your project time. The size I cut was approximately 9.5" in circumference.

I would not suggest cutting smaller than the suggested size due to details on the tree becoming less strong the smaller they are cut.

I prestained and painted the pieces before cutting and engraving. On the part that is painted I masked to make clean up easier. Once cut and engraved you will simply place your frame over the backing and glue in place. Then add your tree by aligning with the scored areas.

TIP: To make scoring appear darker I used a solution of borax and water on my wood. You can find instructions online.

This design WILL NOT work with Cricut or similar machines. This is a laser file.
