Digital template for a two-piece matchbox. Use this for party favors, kids' treat boxes, or packaging for bakery items.

Using the default size included on US letter paper will yield a box 6" x 4" and 1" tall. The file is easily scaled up/down in your design software to accommodate various sizes of items.

This design is easy to assemble and will go together very quickly.
Manual:
Once printed, cut along the solid black lines, then score/fold along the dashed lines.
Cutting Machine:
1, There will be 4 layers in your document when loaded into Design Space. Begin by Ungrouping the layers.
2, Change the Score layers (these will be dashed outlines) function to "Score".
3, Attach the Score Layer for the Outside to the Cut layer for the Outside. Repeat for the Inside Score and Cut layers. You should have two independent shape groups on screen.
4, Make it!
**If you are scaling up/down, make sure to scale the inner and outer boxes at the same time, or you risk them not fitting together properly.

These files will download in a compressed/zipped folder. You must be able to unzip a compressed folder in order to use this item. This software is likely already installed on your PC and you will simply need to right-click the folder and select "Unzip" or "Extract".
Also included are instructions for how to Score then Cut in Cricut Design Space (if you are unfamiliar). These instructions are from a different listing so the screenshots do not match exactly, but the concept is the same.
