Black History is World History

Most people think of black history as the study of the African diaspora in the Americas, but black history is so much more than that. It is the story of a people who have been resilient and have contributed to the world in ways both big and small.

It is a history of struggle and triumph, of heartbreak and hope.

As we commemorate Black History Month, let us remember that black history is world history. It is a story that should be told and remembered all year round.
