Retro Delish

Although Summer is fast moving towards the end, I’d like to hang onto it for a little while longer. To keep that feeling going here are some fun 50’s style retro shapes in summer delicious, fruity colours.  Colorful, clean, ovals shapes and frames to make your design pop. Perfect for food labels, product tags, logos, invites, even wall art.
There are 144 shapes. They come in 9 different style groups with 16 shapes in each group.
Everything is fully adjustable. In Illustrator all elements can be up or down scaled to any size, additionally everything is layered. Lines and solid shapes are on separate layers that can be locked to make any editing or precise selection much easier. All thin lines are strokes, you can change their weight to whatever works best for your design.
I've added a ‘Retro Delish’ colour swatch group that include all the yummy colours used in these elements.
PSD and PNG files are also included. The PSD files come as 9 files, each containing all elements of that particular style on separate layers. The PNG files are each separate element on a transparent background.
Of course there is a BONUS included: 9 Retro style Patterns and 22 ‘lil playful Doodads to sprinkle onto your designs.
The patterns sit in your Swatch Panel. They look like empty white boxes because the patterns are white. Put a colored background underneath to see them.
Change the pattern colour by double clicking on the pattern swatch. Then select everything that’s in the blue box, select a colour you want and click ‘done’.
You can also resize the pattern: Make sure you have ‘Transform Pattern Tiles’ checked in Illustrator Preferences (Preferences > General > check ‘Transform Pattern Tiles’ box > click OK.
Add your pattern to any shape and select the box with the Selection Tool, then double click the Scale Tool to open it up, uncheck ‘Transform Objects’, check ‘Preview’ so that you can see what the Pattern looks like. Then type any percentage you want to scale to into the Uniform scale box or simply put your cursor into the Uniform scale box and use the up or down arrows on your keyboard to scale.
