3D Layered Christmas Tree SVG

Make a glowing Christmas keepsake with this 3D layered Christmas tree SVG. It’s a 9-layer paper cut design for shadow boxes, framed art and handmade cards.

Suggested colors

Cream, navy, pale blue, three shades of green, red, gold (glitter or metallic cardstock looks great) and white.

Tips

• Use 65–110 lb cardstock.
• Put 2–3 mm foam squares between layers, mostly around the frame border and behind the tree.
• Don’t scale the design below about 6 × 7.5 in. The fine garland details need room to cut cleanly.
• Add a battery LED strip behind layer 01 to turn it into a light box.
